PROGRAMS // STAY AT HOME DELIVERY

In order to address hunger relief for populations with mobility issues, Feeding Chittenden runs a Stay at Home Delivery program to serve senior citizens and people with disabilities.

Each month, staff and volunteers deliver a five-day supply of groceries to clients, providing them with food and a much welcome visit. We currently serve between 130 - 145 households each month through the Stay at Home Delivery program.

HowYouCanHelp

Volunteers are a crucial part of every program at Feeding Chittenden. The dedicated hearts and hands of the community help us complete the countless tasks that go into providing food for more than 11,000 people every year. As a Food Shelf volunteer, you’ll experience endless opportunities to learn, grow, and play a rewarding role in addressing hunger in your neighborhood.
