Organize a Food Drive
A big impact can be made when groups, businesses, or organizations come together to collect and donate food. To organize a successful food drive for Feeding Champlain Valley, you can download our guide below. Donate Food as a Business
We welcome food donations from restaurants, farms, and other food enterprises. To set this up, please contact Jon, Food Rescue Coordinator, at jbrandom@cvoeo.org.
Give in Honor or Memory
Honor or celebrate someone special in your life with a gift to Feeding Champlain Valley. You can give a tribute gift in celebration of a birthday, holiday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one.
Your donation will help provide meals, groceries, and crucial services for people facing food insecurity and hunger.
Leave a Legacy with Planned Giving
Leave a legacy and ensure a hunger-free future. By including Feeding Champlain Valley in your estate plans, you ensure our community receives the food and support they need. Your contribution provides vital help and hope to our community in the fight against hunger.
To leave a legacy gift to Feeding Champlain Valley, consider using the following language in your will. “I give and bequeath unto Feeding Champlain Valley, tax ID #03-0216837, ___% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to be used for general charitable purposes.”

Give a Stock Gift
When you donate securities held longer than one year, you may be able to avoid paying capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full market value of the stock. Additionally, gifts of appreciated assets may be deductible up to 30% of your adjusted gross income, and any excess may be carried over for use in future tax years.
